Let's be honest, not everyone wants to gaze moodily into the middle distance. Some of us want to wear a cowboy hat indoors, wink at a camera and be told it's art.
Good news. That's exactly what these shoots are for. Here are our three most gloriously silly styles, and yes, they photograph beautifully too.
The Cowgirl Photoshoot: Yeehaw, But Make It Manchester
Boots, denim, a hat tipped at a dangerous angle and a lasso, if you fancy one. It's all sunshine, swagger and Wild West attitude, in the heart of the Northern Quarter.
No horse required. We checked, and there's no room for one anyway. You don't need to know how to rope anything either. Nobody ever does. The lasso is mostly for looking dangerous.
The Beach Pin Up Photoshoot: A Holiday Without The Flight
Retro swimwear, sunny colours and a cheeky wink to camera, with no sand in anywhere awkward and no Manchester drizzle to ruin your hair.
Beach Pin Up takes the classic 1950s look and gives it a breezy, flirty twist. You'll end up with photos that look like you've been somewhere warm, when really you've been on Swan Street.

Polka dots, red lips, victory rolls and a smile that says you know exactly what you're doing, even if you've never done it before. It's pure feel good nostalgia and one of the most popular styles we shoot.

Every shoot at Alt Studio gives you 4 completely different looks, so you can be a cowgirl by 11, a beach babe by lunch and a diner dream by the afternoon. Some people go fully silly. Others finish with something sultrier, like a cheeky Bunny Girl or a pink and fluffy Pin Up Boudoir.
