I had a fabulous day at Alt. Studio. I often feel uncomfortable having my photo taken but Simon put me at ease. The photos are fabulous, and Gemma done an amazing job of my hair and make up. It was an amazing experience and will happily return again!

Loved every second. Brilliant experience. Simon was great, Jen was awesome.. Considering all the restrictions at the minute they did a sterling job, very clean and conscious of restrictions, very professional.. Cannot fault them at all! I would recommend to anyone and everyone. Friendly, funny, welcoming. Managed to put our minds at ease and I cnt wait to get our photos haha. Everyone should try this at least once!

What a brilliant experience. My 4 friends and me spent a fantastic day being made to feel like 50’s movie stars. The make up and clothes were amazing and Simon was fantastic at putting us all at ease and giving us great direction. The photos are stunning, Simon you are an amazing photographer!
So if it’s a girly day out, a family get together or a special date for two I would highly recommend this experience. It’s fab and fun plus the pictures will make you smile for years to come.

My 6 year old daughter and I loved every minute of our make over photo shoot. It will stay in our memories forever and the photos are the icing on the cake!! Simon and Lynn (very talented make up artist) made us both feel really comfortable and my daughter soon came out of her shell and was happy to smile and pose for the camera. Not once did she complain about being bored.
Usually I don't really like myself on camera but these photos are so fantastic it was difficult to choose!

Had my very first photo shoot yesterday for my 21st birthday. I had lots of ideas for outfits etc but no idea how to pose and was really nervous! Simon was amazing, really put me at ease and gave me lots of encouragement and help to make my pictures look fab. I have never felt or looked so amazing. Colette (the makeup and hair artist) did an incredible job and i loved the whole experience. They really took their time with me and the end results are amazing! DEFINITELY GO! Was worth every penny and I cannot believe how incredibly beautiful the photos are!

We asked if we could do some photos of us in our cosplays, and Simon was more than happy to do so. Lynn Docherty was superb at doing our make up for us and making us look more like our characters. Both Simon and Lynn created a fun and friendly atmosphere which really made our memorable day. Highly recommended :D

5 star I had a really fab day yesterday, Simon & Nikki are lovely, Nikki is a brilliant hair & make up artist, and Simon is great at giving really clear direction for posing, as well as knowing what poses work best for each look. What can I say... Such a fantastic experience shooting here :D Simon is fun and easy to talk to, had some wonderful ideas of how to use my props and costumes to best effect, but always listened and understood the look I was going for myself, as well. Hair and make-up was second to none, so happy with the look. And as for the results.... They completely blew my expectations out of the water, they're nothing like any other pin-up photos I have ever done! A completely unique experience, with unique results. This is NOT you're everyday pin-up/vintage photography, as I know the genre is extremely popular right now. Simon really knows his stuff, you will most definitely come out with some very treasured images

One week ago I set off nervously to the studio for the makeover and photoshoot I won courtesy of Alt and Blush.
This was a series of firsts for me at just past my half century. My first photoshoot without Jamie my son, my first make over, my first beehive and my first false eyelashes!
Gina did an amazing job transforming me into a sixties pop star and Audrey Hepburn amongst other things. I had a lovely time chatting, she made me feel totally at ease and looked after me for the whole shoot.
Simon told me exactly what to do and by the end I had enjoyed it so much I would definitely do it again.
And then I saw the photos. I didn't expect I would like them but I couldn't choose they are AMAZING!
