What Do I Wear For a Boudoir Photoshoot?

Don’t worry, this is one of the most common questions we get and the answer is easier than you think.

At Alt Studio we have a full wardrobe of outfits, lingerie and accessories available for you to use. You don’t need to bring anything specific, though if you have something you love absolutely bring it along.

A few tips to help you prepare. Come with clean moisturised skin. Bring a strapless bra if you have one. Painted nails are a lovely touch. Bring any accessories you love such as jewellery, heels or hats.

Will I Have to Show Everything?

What Happens During a Boudoir Photoshoot at Alt Studio?

Here’s exactly what to expect on your shoot day.

You’ll arrive and we’ll have a consultation where we go through your chosen styles and plan your perfect shoot together. Then comes the hair and makeup, professional styling that transforms you completely. After that it’s photoshoot time where Simon directs every pose so you always look incredible. After the shoot you get an hour to relax or explore Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Finally you sit down and choose your favourite portraits on a big screen with no pressure and no hard sell whatsoever.

The whole experience takes around 4 to 5 hours and honestly? It flies by. 🖤
